Our role

ResultBull may act as a data fiduciary when it determines why and how personal data is processed, and as a data processor when it processes information only on documented instructions from a business customer. The applicable role depends on the service and the context in which data is received.

Publicly available business information may be organised into business profiles and intelligence records. A public business record can still contain personal data, such as the name or business contact details of a proprietor, and we apply this policy where such information identifies an individual.

03

  • Identity and account data, including name, email address, mobile number, login credentials, role and organisation.
  • Business-profile data, including business name, category, address, contact details, website, operating information, offerings, media and verification evidence.
  • Transaction data, including plan, invoice, payment status, taxes, billing address, transaction reference and limited payment metadata supplied by the payment provider.
  • Technical and usage data, including IP address, device and browser information, security logs, approximate location, pages viewed, searches, clicks, session activity and diagnostic events.
  • Communications, support requests, survey responses, consent records and preferences.
  • Assessment inputs, generated findings, ResultBull scores, supporting evidence and actions taken within the platform.
  • Public, licensed and partner-supplied business signals from websites, maps, directories, social platforms, marketplaces, reviews, public records and other permitted sources.
04

How and why we use personal data

We process personal data for specified lawful purposes, including with consent where consent is required, for permitted legitimate uses recognised by law, to perform a contract or requested service, to comply with legal duties and to protect the platform and its users.

  • Create and secure accounts, authenticate users and maintain sessions.
  • Publish, verify, correct and manage business listings and claims.
  • Perform scans, calculate scores, produce readiness findings and deliver recommendations.
  • Process purchases, subscriptions, invoices, taxes, refunds and payment reconciliation.

  • Detect abuse, fraud, security incidents, prohibited conduct and technical faults.
  • Measure, troubleshoot, research and improve the services and their accessibility.
  • Send essential service notices and, where permitted, marketing communications that you can opt out of.
  • Comply with lawful requests, tax, accounting, corporate and regulatory obligations.
05

Business intelligence, scoring and AI

ResultBull uses automated rules, statistical methods, machine learning and artificial-intelligence systems to collect, classify, reconcile and interpret business signals. These systems may generate scores, summaries, comparisons, risk indicators and recommended actions.

Outputs are decision-support information and may be incomplete, probabilistic or affected by source quality and freshness. We apply reasonable controls and human review where appropriate, but users should independently verify material decisions. ResultBull does not use an automated score as a substitute for legally required human decision-making in employment, credit, insurance or another regulated high-impact context.

06

Cookies and similar technologies

We may use essential cookies and local storage for authentication, security, load balancing and user preferences. Subject to applicable consent requirements, we may also use analytics or performance technologies to understand how the service is used and improve it.

You can control non-essential cookies through available consent controls or browser settings. Disabling essential storage may prevent account, security or transactional features from functioning correctly.

07

Payments

Payments are processed through third-party banks, payment gateways or payment aggregators. ResultBull does not intend to store complete card numbers, card verification values, UPI PINs or internet-banking passwords. Payment providers process such credentials under their own terms, security standards and regulatory obligations.

We receive limited transaction information needed to confirm payment, issue invoices, prevent fraud, provide support and process eligible refunds.

08

When we share information

We do not sell personal data. We disclose personal data only where reasonably necessary for a documented purpose, such as to contracted service providers, authorised integrations, professional advisers, payment providers, affiliates, competent authorities or a successor in a lawful corporate transaction.

Our Data Sharing Policy provides further detail about recipient categories, safeguards and choices and forms part of this Privacy Policy.

09

Public business information

Business listings are intended to be publicly discoverable. Information submitted for publication or obtained from public business sources may appear on ResultBull and may be indexed by search engines. Account credentials, private evidence and payment information are not intended to be public.

Business owners and authorised representatives may request correction, verification or removal review. We may retain a limited suppression, audit or dispute record where needed to prevent inaccurate republication, establish provenance or comply with law.

10

Data retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the stated purpose, the customer relationship, security, dispute handling and legal, tax, accounting or regulatory requirements. Retention varies by record type and may include longer periods for invoices, consent records, security logs, legal claims and transaction records.

When retention is no longer required, data is deleted, anonymised or isolated from routine use. Backup copies may persist for a limited cycle and are protected from ordinary access until overwritten or securely deleted.

11

Security safeguards and incidents

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the nature and risk of processing. Measures may include encryption in transit, access controls, authentication, logging, monitoring, vulnerability management, backup controls, vendor review and incident-response procedures.

No online system is completely secure. If a personal-data breach requires notification under applicable law, we will notify affected individuals and the competent authority in the manner and timeframe then required.

12

Your rights and choices

Subject to applicable law and verification of your identity, you may request a summary of personal data and processing activities, correction or completion of inaccurate data, erasure of data no longer required, withdrawal of consent, grievance redressal and nomination of another individual to exercise rights in the event of death or incapacity.

Withdrawal of consent does not affect processing already lawfully completed and may prevent us from providing features that require the relevant data. We may retain information where another lawful basis or mandatory retention duty applies.

13

Your responsibilities

You must provide authentic information, avoid impersonation, respect the rights of others and not submit false, frivolous or fraudulent grievances or requests. If you provide personal data about another person, you are responsible for having a lawful basis and giving any required notice.

14

Children

ResultBull is designed for businesses and adults and is not directed to children under eighteen years of age. We do not knowingly create accounts for children or process their personal data without verifiable parental consent where required. If you believe a child’s data has been submitted, contact us for review.

15

Cross-border processing

Service providers or infrastructure may process data outside India. Cross-border processing will be subject to applicable Indian restrictions, contractual controls and reasonable safeguards. We may change provider locations as our infrastructure evolves while preserving applicable legal protections.

16

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect service, security or legal changes. Material changes will be communicated through the website, account notice or another reasonable channel. The date at the top identifies the latest version. Where fresh consent is legally required, we will request it before the relevant processing.

17

Contact and grievance redressal

Questions, complaints, legal notices and requests relating to this policy may be sent to ResultBull’s compliance contact using the details shown below. Please include your name, account or transaction reference where applicable, the nature of your request and enough information for us to verify and respond to it.

Consumer grievances will ordinarily be acknowledged within forty-eight hours and addressed within one month, subject to the complexity of the matter and any shorter period required by applicable law. Privacy requests will be handled within the period required under applicable data-protection law.
